Sorry I haven't been active much. It's been busy lately.

I was making Christmas cards yesterday, but clearly they won't get anywhere in time. So, I'm making New Year's cards... with Christmas in the front, I guess. They were taking me a while since I decided to paint each one, using left-over paint as usual. I finished a tiny model car so all the cards are green. xD; I'll mail them out whenever I get the chance. ;w;

Also, on commissions... No, I haven't forgotten. The goal is to get them done before winter break ends. No worries. I will draw and color!!!! I've changed the order of priority. Hope it's not too big of a problem.

(Yeah, I'm breaking rules 3 and 4. It takes way too much time. I totally should be writing papers right now.)

1. I've worn a school uniform from kindergarten to 12th grade. I miss wearing them because now I have to take time in deciding a outfit to wear.

2. When I was a little kid, I played with Hot Wheels and Barbie dolls. But I had more fun building obstacle courses with random stuff from blocks to medical supplies (haha) and role-playing with various character figures/stuffed animals.

3. I made a series of picture story books (stapled computer paper) when I was little. There was a series for various characters including Goldie (a beanie baby), Shamu, Sharky, and Pup (stuffed animals my sibs and I role-played with), Joe and Mark (paper people I made with lil sis).

4. I was a big fan of Pokemon and Digimon. Still, sorta am.
...of the English version, actually, just because they stick in silly jokes that I somehow find hilarious. >w>;;

5. I have a hard time taking "romance" stories seriously. I seem to like "romance" better when it's not the main part of the story. Or comedy-romances... I like those.

6. I don't like the sound of popping balloons. In a suspenseful part of a movie, I'll cover an ear, just to lessen the effect of a startling sound. I hate startling sounds, even if I know it's coming.

7. Probably 90% of the clothes I have are gifts from relatives. Thus, I don't really have my own sense of fashion. I've been trying to buy my own clothes recently. Problem is I don't shop often by myself, and there's only so much I can spend on clothes in one day. Usually I can't shop with my mom, or I won't be able to get what I like... because whatever I like isn't girly enough.

8. My PC is named Kan. My laptop is named Chi-Ken. I've drawn a persona for each of them.

9. When I talk to people, I become dumb and mute because my brain blanks out. It's only after the person is gone that I slap myself in the face thinking, "Oh, I should've said [thisandthat]!!!" It annoys me greatly.

10. When I was in first grade, I purposely lied on the eye exam so I could get glasses...................... Now my vision is REALLY TERRIBLE.

My messages have piled up to over 1,000 again. XD I haven't been checking dA much, but I'll catch up with everything once this semester is over. I've got 4 papers, a lab exam, and an animation project due on the last week of school. D8 No matter how much I try to work ahead, I still think I will have a stress-fest.

However, all is well. I'm a lot happier than I was last year. I've been working hard both in school and work. And HOLY SNAPS I actually have more of a social life than last year, even though I had more free time back then. I still shake my fist at those over-ambitious, over-competitive biology majors that keep breaking the curve, but, hey, glad I'm not a bio major. I like my major, even though I don't really plan on going into that field. ^__^; (It's just a back-up plan in disguise!) What I really want to do is go into animation. And I might have a connection that I could take advantage of. I know animation's not a steady field, but feel like I can get somewhere if I keep working on it. And if not, my back-up plan's not too bad either. Optometrist! Creating and helping 4-eyes throughout the world...!! 8D *BRICKED* _{dumbstupidglassesfetishyoooooooouuuu} I don't mind keeping animation and art as a hobby.

Side note, commish status hasn't changed from last month.

Disappointingly, I did not get a table for ALA. To be honest, tabling doesn't make much profit, but I still made more in the 3-4 days at a con than working part-time for 2 weeks. But table or not, I will still work on beefing up my portfolio and start working on that TotA doujin. And I will still be at the con (though I wonder what I'll do for 3 whole days... o-o).

Many apologies to people who commished me the week before school started. Well, school started, that's pretty peachy, but I really lack time to do anything else at the moment. >__< Now that doesn't mean I won't work on your commish.

...It just might take a while.

I honestly thought I would be able to finish one commish every month, but due to unforeseen circumstances, most likely I'll start work on commissions December, which is after project deadlines and finals. I'll be doing a drawing marathon for ALA anyway, but once I'm free, I'll prioritize commish first.
